NATIONAL CHRISTMAS TREE COMING FROM WYOMING
The National Christmas tree is coming from Wyoming this year, and the Wyoming Main Street Program is sponsoring a smaller tree to also be sent to Washington, DC.
The Torrington Main Street Partnership has been asked to send 10 ornaments. The Main Street board encourages people to submit an ornament to represent Wyoming. Click here for entry criteria.
Ornaments not selected to be sent to the nation’s capitol will be displayed in Torrington.
Submit ornaments by Sept. 9 to any of the following Main Street businesses: Mel’s Country Card & Party, Edward Jones, Serendipity, Heartland Embroidery, or Prairie Creek Books.
